About Josh Owens

Josh Owens has been in front of & behind the lens for the last 25 years.​

Josh had a young start in front of the camera with his first modeling job in his late teens, and quickly earned a career by his early 20's.  He's traveled around the world and worked with some of the most wonderful people this industry has ever known. Even though Josh's modeling career continues (hey- some magazines like really old guys) Josh combined his camera expertise with his love for dogs a few years ago and has never been happier. His style is candid, comedic & colorful.  He loves working with creative props, collaborating with awesome canine parents and meeting all kinds of amazing dogs. Most importantly, he loves that he can promise that his work with your puppers will make your instagram followers go absolutely nuts.

When Josh isn't writing about himself in third person, he loves spending time with his rescue dog Misha.  Josh is a proud vegan and competitive guacamole maker.  He was born in Washington state but currently makes his bed in lower Manhattan and loves discovering fantastic places to shoot around all 5 boroughs for his clients.
